"Nelly is an incredible teacher. She has a natural gift for helping her students feel and understand the changes in their own bodies, drawing upon experiences from her extensive international operatic career and passion for singing. From the moment I stepped in to her student, I trusted her immediately. Her warm nature and love for teaching and singing encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and explore my potential. She helped me restore my faith in my own abilities, giving me the hope and determination essential to a singing career. Thank you Nelly, for helping me to realise my lifelong dream of a leading role on the West End!

"Nelly is a remarkable artist and maestra. She draws upon her own artistic experiences throughout her immense career and works intuitively with each singer to help them realise their full potential. Nelly's knowledge of the body and the physicality and mentality of singing is incomparable, and she shares this wisdom so generously, adapting to each individual's particular needs. Nelly creates an incredibly supportive working environment in her teaching, allowing each singer to experiment under her guidance, whilst also providing them with the tools required to be able to confidently work outside the studio. Nelly has such a profound respect for the music, the language, and the composer's wishes, that preparing an operatic role under her sure-handed guidance is a dream! She has magic hands. She is a wonder."

Laura Sheerin - International Lyric Soprano (https://www.laurasheerin.com)

"Nelly is a unique being - both as an artist and as a teacher. I have yet to meet anyone quite like her, and she continues to be one of the driving forces behind my career, and my understanding of my voice and myself as an artist. Her knowledge of the voice - the mechanism behind it, the connection it hold to one's emotions, and the relationship it has with the body - is simply unbeaten. Alongside the obvious list of accolades and acclaim that come with being one of the worlds most renowned international artists, she is now - without doubt - one of the foremost leading singing teachers, in huge demand all over the world. In Nelly's eyes, no one singer is the same, and her approach to work with each individual person is a testimony to this, and perhaps one of the most significant factors in the unique working relationships that she holds with each of her students. Myself, I could not have reached where I am today without the guidance of her knowledge, experience, belief and love. She is a beacon of calm during all professional times, and the best person to have on your side."
